While going through his parents' records, Naël came across several Motown compilations at a young age, albums by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and gospel music. All these records were the only ones that he had and that he listened repeatedly. His tastes were defined with these albums, and quickly evolved towards Neo Soul, R&B and jazz. However, he never thought heI would be able to make music, as he was born almost deaf and has hearing aids on both sides. Without his hearing aids he can't hear music (sounds or notes). The devices he had in his life have evolved a lot and the ones he has today allow him with more ease to realize a dream that he thought impossible for a long time.
